Five steps to go from signup to a finished schedule, fast.

If you want to skip the details and just get a schedule built, here's the shortest path:

1. Create your project

Click + New Project. Enter a project name and the number of shoot days. Everything else is optional — you can fill it in later.

2. Add your lanes

Click the + button at the top-right of the lane headers to add a lane for each department or crew role on your shoot. Common lane setups include:

  • Simple (2–3 person crew): Camera, Sound
  • Standard (5–8 person crew): Camera + G&E, Sound, HMUA, Talent
  • Large (10+ person crew): Camera, G&E, Sound, HMUA, Wardrobe, Talent, Art Dept

When you create each lane, you can set its Call Time, Meal Break threshold, and Overtime threshold. You can always adjust these later.

3. Build your blocks

Click on the timeline to add time blocks. Start with the structural blocks that anchor your day — load-in, meals, and wrap — then fill in your scenes and setups between them.

Each block has a title, start/end time, optional location, notes, and a color. Use colors to visually group related blocks (e.g., all scenes in one color, all transitions in another).

4. Share it

Click the share link icon in the toolbar to generate a view-only link. Name it (e.g., "Crew" or "Client Review"), copy the link, and send it out. Recipients can view the schedule on any device without creating an account.

5. Export the PDF

Click the PDF Export icon in the toolbar. The PDF mirrors your schedule layout — project header, all lanes, all blocks, all notes — ready to attach to a call sheet or print for set.

That's it. Five steps, and your schedule is built, shared, and exported.
